Job Description:
Job Title: Business Manager
Reports to: VP, Employee Enablement
You will be part of the Employee Enablement team within Data Strategy. You will implement, organize and manage the department’s internal programs and activities in the Barcelona office. Oversee the day to day office operations relevant to the department. Additionally, you will assist theVP, Employee Enablement to conceptualize, plan and execute department-wide programs and tasks related to hiring, onboarding, training, talent development and DEI.
Responsibilities:
Support and lead management activities for the Barcelona team
Help drive a culture of continuous improvement
Establish and manage processes related to department-wide initiatives, including Business Continuity, hiring, onboarding, training, DEI and People team programs
Represent the Data Strategy hubs (Princeton, London, Barcelona, Singapore and Shanghai) needs in departmental planning
Support the Data Strategy Leadership Team
Vendor management and financial reporting, purchase orders and invoice payments in a timely manner
Training which includes Learning and Development
Coordinate with the Office Manager for office communication, space planning and supplies
Visitor coordination and Global Real Estate and Facilities point of contact
Manage and own the Data Strategy Intern program for Barcelona which includes recruitment, programming and mentor program
Skills & Experience:
Understanding of diverse business processes, including people management and finance operations
Fluency in English and Spanish to support ad-hoc business needs. Fluency in Catalan a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively across the organization
Proven ability to multitask
Very well organized
Strong knowledge of Google suite of products; knowledge of design software applications and tools is preferred
Experience with people or project management is preferred
Bachelor's degree required
