About the Role:

Dow Jones is looking for a Manager to join our Due Diligence team responsible for creating high-quality reports on companies and/or individuals using a combination of publicly-available sources and proprietary databases. As a Manager, you will manage a team of Research Editors. You will work with your peers and your team of Research Editors, ensuring that our content and sources are updated and that reports meet client requirements regarding accuracy. You will report to the Director of Risk & Compliance Services.

You Will:

  • Provide regular and transparent responsiveness to the team goals

  • Support and develop a team to maximize potential through coaching, counseling, and delegation

  • Ensure Due Diligence reports meet client requirements concerning content quality, accuracy, and completeness

  • Communicate with clients, addressing their questions

  • Promote the Due Diligence research process internally and externally

  • Perform testing of enhanced system and product functionality

  • Support training of future members of staff

  • Contribute to both team and product-initiated projects

You Have:

  • Coordinate appropriate other teams

  • Adapt to changing customer expectations

  • Knowledge of and interest in international affairs and politics

  • An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity

  • 3+ years experience in the field of Due Diligence

  • Specialist legal, business, or financial knowledge
